Let's Talk about going GREEN.
In today's world of many people discovering and wanting to do things GREEN I came across this while learning about a Yahoo group that I just joined. The Yahoo group is called FEST- Florida Etsy Street Team Members. We are dedicated to promoting artists and crafters that sell on Etsy and live in Sunny Florida!
My discovery is about Solar Seamstress. This is her Bio from her Etsy page:
"I was taught to sew at about age 8 on a toy machine, making doll clothes. Since then I have progressively sewn all types of garments for women, men, children, home decor, etc.

Now, I power my sewing projects with a small, battery powered solar electric system. The system also powers my computer and television.

My products are made with recycled or leftover fabrics, clothes or linens to create new items. I encourage everyone to find creative ways to reuse the "leftovers" that our consumer oriented lifestyle produces and to support renewable energy in their own area."

Although she has few items in her shop. I believe in the way she makes her products.
